Our Privacy Policy

Who is responsible for dealing with your data?

Bluestorm apparel is run and maintained by Ten Forward Media Ltd – a web design and development company from the UK. We conform to all UK applicable legislation including the Data Protection Act and also the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). Your data is stored within the UK and will never be shared with third parties apart from the payment gateways you use to pay for your order – more details on this are below.

What Data do we store?

When you place an order with us, we only store your name, email, shipping and billing address information and of course the items that you ordered form us. We don’t store any more information than this as all payment information is handled separately by trusted third party payment gateways Stripe and Paypal. More information about those payment gateways is below. We take data security safely and you can be sure that we go to great lengths to make sure that your information is safe and follows the latest best practice and UK regulations. If you frequently shop online with other merchants we’d always recommend that you check that your payment details are not being stored on the site and are being handled by a trusted third party gateway and all pages are loaded over HTTPS (a padlock symbol should be in the browser).

What Payment Gateways do we use?

PayPal is one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world which is why we use the service on our site, to give new customers who aren’t yet familiar with us, peace of mind. You can find their privacy policy here: https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full

Stripe is a very popular and upcoming payment gateway. We use it due to the lower fees placed on us, but we hope our customers will also enjoy the clean checkout experience. If you’d like to read their privacy policy and terms, you can do so here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy
